アナーヒタは弟の渡辺パーサと同様、サニーサイドで生まれ育った。父親の颯太は日本人で、母親のシャディはイランからサニーサイドに移住してきた。
生まれつき聡明な彼女は、両親の高い期待に応えることに何の問題もなく、高校と大学をそれぞれ1年早く卒業した。現在はサニーサイドにある大学の植物学研究センターで助手として働いている。研究内容にはあまり興味はないが、やりがいはある。しかし、彼女の成功にもかかわらず、伝統的な母親は、アナーヒタが自分にふさわしい夫を見つけるまで、まだ満足していないようだ。
Anahita, like her brother Parsa Watanabe, was born and raised in Sunnyside. Her father, Sota, is Japanese, and her mother, Shadi, immigrated to Sunnyside from Iran.
Intelligent by nature, she had no problem meeting her parents' high expectations, graduating from high school and college a year early each. She now works as a research assistant at the university's Botany Research Center in Sunnyside. Her research is not very interesting, but it is rewarding. Despite her success, however, the traditional mother still seems unsatisfied until Anaheeta finds the right husband for her.
