なぜ防波堤にたくさんいるカワハギではなくウマズラハギが採用されたのか謎だ。

この魚はカワハギよりやや沖合の深場に生息。海底から中間層を群れで泳ぐ。そして防波堤ではなく磯に多い。

Why the Black scraper was chosen over the kingfish, which are plentiful on the breakwaters, is a mystery.

This fish lives in deeper waters, slightly offshore from the leatherback. They swim in schools from the seafloor to the middle layer. And they are most commonly found on rocky shores, not on breakwaters.
