ブレークはアメリカのカリフォルニアで育った。花子の数少ない友人の一人である。二人は花子が10代の頃、1年間留学したときに出会い、急速に固い友情で結ばれた。ブレークは高校卒業後、一緒に医学部に行くために日本に移り住んだ。ブレークは高校卒業後、一緒に医学部に進学するために日本に移り住み、現在はマユミが見守る中、一緒に研修医を終えている。

Blake grew up in California in the United States. She is one of Hanako's very few friends. The two met when Hanako spent a year studying abroad as a teen, and they became fast and firm friends. Blake moved to Japan after high school so they could go to med school together. They are now completing their medical residency together under Mayumi's watchful eye.
Blake is very quiet and sweet and tends to avoid confrontation. She’s determined to become an incredible doctor some day, but once she met her goal of getting to Japan, she started realizing that dreams aren’t always what you expect them to be.
