アメリカのバージニア州で生まれ育ったライアンは、物心ついたときから写真に興味を持っていた。彼にとって、直接的に世界と接するよりもレンズを通して世界と接する方が常に簡単であり、デートのような社会的慣習は常に彼を困惑させてきた。アメリカで写真の修士号を取得した後、ライアンは世界を見たいと思うようになり、20代前半に大学から大学へと渡り歩き、興味のある都市で非常勤講師として働いた。サニーサイドに来たのは5年ほど前だが、離れる理由が見つからない。
Born and raised in Virginia in the United States, Ryan has been interested in photography for as long as he can remember. For him, it was always easier to interact with the world through a lens rather than directly, and social conventions like dating have always confused him. After completing a masters degree in photography in the US, Ryan decided he wanted to see the world, and so he hopped from university to university in his early 20s, working as an adjunct professor in cities that interested him. He came to SunnySide about 5 years ago, and never found a reason to leave.
