ヒナはサニーサイドで生まれ育ち、両親は彼女がシェフになるという夢を追いかけることに全力を注いだ。彼女は20代のほとんどを日本全国で活躍するために費やしたが、30代で地元に落ち着くことを決めた。夫とともに「[[Naka>カフェNaka(CafeNaka)]]」を開店し、小さな家庭は幸せと成功を手にしたが、年月が経つにつれ、彼女の健康は急速に衰え始めた。数年前、セバスチャンは大学を辞めて家に戻り、レストランの存続を手伝うことになったが、ヒナのプライドは常に完全引退の邪魔をする。彼女はよくカフェにいたり（まだ働いている）、新しく見つけた自由な時間に何かしようと街をぶらついたりしている。
Hina was born and raised in SunnySide, and her parents put everything they had into helping her chase her dream of becoming a chef. She spent most of her 20’s making a name for herself all across Japan, but decided to settle down in her hometown in her 30’s. After opening Naka with her husband, Hina’s small family was happy and successful for a time, but as the years went on, her health began to rapidly decline. Sebastian left college to come home and help keep the restaurant alive a couple years ago, but Hina's pride constantly gets in the way of full retirement. You'll often find her in the café (still working), or wandering around town trying to find something to do with her new found free time.
